While she and her team have spared no effort in catering to working women with luxury that travels, they go above and beyond.  Ligne de Soie donates a portion of  profits to make women around the world feel good about themselves - opening the doors of possibility through education and financial support. Melissa has partnered with groups like womenforwomen.org and the central Asia Institute (www.ikat.org). The former helps women survivors of war rebuild their lives, and the latter supports community based education, especially for girls in remote regions of Pakistan and Afghanistan.
