The source of inspiration was two pronged - one, there was not book out there that showed women how to take charge without appearing like agressive man-eaters, and two, she wanted to share what she had learned.

She is the type of friend who wants to help you out - the girl who received constant late night calls from friends in tears venting about their latest dilemnas, even in grade school. She should have been the local psychologist but instead she followed her long-felt dream to be a writer. In a way she has become a brilliant combination of both - and is ridiculously happy doing what she does.
When asked what is one thing everyone can do to change the world, she answers, " Say one small nice thing to someone you don't know, and be genuine about it. Put the good out there."
